Matt Pruitt is a short story writer who lives in the Nashville, TN area. His stories explore complex topics like family, relationships, and the struggles that many people deal with in their daily lives. He studied creative writing at the University of Iowa and is currently working on a collection of short stories.When not writing, you can find him reading one of his many influences and favorites, including Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Kafka, Hemingway, and Alice Munro.
